What an amazing day. It was such a fun time, minus the coughing and sickness coming from me. Aunt Amanda gave a great shower and I loved every second of it. It was monkey themed which matches Max's bedroom theme. The invitations matched perfectly, and Aunt Allyson's banana split bar sent it over the edge. I walked away feeling very blessed and lucky to know every single person that was there that day. It is so nice to know that our friends are willing to show up and support us not because they have to, but because they want to. Even when I think about it, it brings tears to my eyes. Max is going to have a lot of great friends because we have lots of babies growing up around us, and a couple of more girls pregnant! I am already excited for his first birthday party to take the same picture but with a bunch of kiddos running around! Thank you to everybody who came and to those who couldn't make it, thanks for thinking of us that day it is very much appreciated! I love you all and can't wait for Max to meet every single one of you!

Max Update
Everything is going great right now. He's moving a lot, and kicking the crap out of me. When he kicks it makes me jump sometimes because it will be unexpected and hard. He seems to be a little shy though. Whenever you put your hand to feel him moving he stops. I don't know who he gets the shyness from because neither Mommy or Daddy are that way.
I have been peeing literately every time I stand up, not to mention when I sneeze. Max will hear all about it when he is old enough ;)
Max (and Ken and I) wants to welcome home his Uncle Steve, he is so proud of him and so excited to have him home!

Slowly but surely...
I have this crazy feeling. I heard it is called nesting.
The nursery is coming along. Aunt Amanda came over and helped paint the tree on Max's wall. It is just what I wanted to look like. All it needs is some monkeys and his name. Every time I walk past his room I stop and look, and I catch Kenny in there looking all the time too. Getting his nursery done is getting me excited!!
Congratulations to the Lamoureaux Family!
We had a new addition to our family this week. Meet Bently. We are so excited to have this little guy in our lives. Congratulations to Christan and Ashly. We love you and we know Bently and Max are going to be great friends! Ashly is an amazingly strong woman, she gave birth to this 9lbs baby! I don't know how she did, but it makes me a little more confident for when Max gets here. I couldn't help but to share some of these pictures, what a blessing. I am so happy for you all, love you guys!
My sister with her nephew, she is holding a baby and she has a smile on her face! LOVE IT! |

Happy New Year!
I am so excited for this year. This year is starting off with a bang and is packed with lots of blessings. I am starting a new job, my sister is getting married, lots of showers (baby and wedding), four babies (maybe more) being born, Steve (Chris) is coming home forever, and that's just the beginning.
We are so excited to meet our little Max and love on him. Every time I post a new chalkboard week on here it reminds me that it just isn't a weekly update, it is a week closer to meeting our little guy. We are coming down to the final stretch.
Now I am just working on getting his room together, getting the house in shape, and packing the hospital bags.
2012 was a year to remember with some bad, but lots of good. We moved into our home, we celebrated our first wedding anniversary, we got pregnant, we celebrated Kenny's 25th birthday and my 26th birthday. This is the way life should be. I am so blessed to have found the perfect person for me, and now we get to start our own family.
I hope that your New Year is exciting and may you be blessed this year.
