Good News!

My appetite has made it's appearance, finally! I am now scarfing down whatever is making my stomach happy, which is a lot. I have officially gained back 2 of the pounds that I lost. There are things that I eat now that I didn't before, such as pork. I could eat 3 pork chops in one sitting. The downside is that there are things I used to like that I don't like so much now, such as blueberry muffins. I bought one at school this morning and literally gagged while trying to swallow it so I didn't have to spit it out in the middle of class. But, I am happy to say that I am eating like normal again (and sometimes a little more than normal).

Baby Bently!

Baby Boy and I went to a baby shower yesterday to celebrate Baby Bently! It was so much fun and all the baby stuff just made me even more excited for our Baby Boy to join our family. Congratulations to Ashly and Christian, I love you and I am so excited for you and your family.

Baby Boy is already spoiled!

We are so thankful for our families and friends that have already accepted Baby Boy into their hearts.

Thank you cousin Ronda for our present, all three of us love the outfit and frame!

Thank you to Allyson, Amanda, and Lindsay for the cute outfits that I can't wait to put our Baby Boy in.

Got a knock at the door...

....and there were these beautiful flowers and a balloon! How sweet? Thanks Dodd-Camp.

Chalkboard

I have had a few people ask me about the chalkboard, where it is, how I did it, etc. So I thought I would post that on here.

I have a craft room in the spare bedroom that we have divided by curtains, and on the far wall of the craft room I used chalkboard paint for the whole wall. I had planned on doing this before being pregnant, because I thought it would be useful to have while crafting. Now it has multiple uses. Here is a picture of the wall. If you don't want to do a whole wall, I've seen a lot of people that use old picture frames.

I used half a quart of the chalkboard paint for the whole wall, it didn't take that long and I did not prime before I did it. I kept the left over chalkboard paint because since I am using it often, its nice to do a coat every once in a while to look nice and black again.

Baby Boy Longshore Update

Good news! The doctor said from the results of the quad screen test that I am at low risk for everything, which is great to hear. She also said by looking at the ultrasounds, he is measuring ahead of schedule (because he is such an over achiever). He has all his body parts, organs, and looks like a baby. The next doctor's appointment is in 4 weeks, by then you might be able to tell that I am pregnant, and maybe I wont look like I've just eaten to much that day.

It was so amazing to actually see him and watch him moving around during the ultrasound. I couldn't stop smiling or crying. Every time I look at his picture, I think to my self how are Kenny and I so blessed to have made something so wonderful, we made him!
I seriously don't think I could love anything as much as I love him, what a miracle.
